What makes a person special?

Aligning the heart with the intellect
“What makes a person special is not having power, but knowing how to use it. Power can manifest itself when you align your intellect with your heart, creating a channel that unites the two. Magic happens when this alignment occurs.
There is a vehicle that is capable of moving these two very distinct fields.
It is the vital dream.
Within the dream are the resources that can take love coming from the heart to the intellect and carry the force of will of the intellect to the heart. The intellect, without the dream, will not find peace and happiness. In this case, love cannot remain in the mind for long. The tasks will be difficult and too much force will be dispersed. The results will be mediocre and insufficient. The heart, without the dream is without focus, without confidence in its guide, the intellect. The relationship will be one of doubt and little hope.
Through the identification of the vital dream, you can take yourself through the two dimensions; the intellect and the heart.
When the dream exists only in the heart, there is a lot of love and you experience the force, the determination and the persistence. But everything is little more than ‘wanting.’ It is like a wild horse, full of energy, but its actions are without direction and orientation. There will be a lack of method and a sense of the pragmatic. It is difficult to turn this into reality.
When the dream exists only in the intellect, there is only idealism and theory to draw upon. Think of a race car driver who is highly skilled, who knows how to pilot his vehicle, plan his movements. But all comes to nothing if his vehicle has no fuel.
The imagination and creativity represent the fundamental fuel that is required by the spirit.”
